Amanda DeCoste
Fort McMurray has been home for Amanda for 18 years. She came from Nova Scotia in 2004 to work as a pharmacy technician. Amanda quickly learned she liked to talk too much to be behind the counter! She pursued a successful real estate career from 2007 - 2015. Amanda moved to Squamish, BC, after the fire. Here she was introduced to being a foster parent - a dream she had since she was a little girl. In 2019 it was time to return "home" to Fort McMurray. While Squamish was beautiful, family is important. Amanda has a massive family- including over 50 cousins in Fort McMurray.
Amanda's passions have always been entrepreneurship and real estate, so in 2022, it was time to reinstate her license! As an ambitious professional, achieving positive results by successfully applying skills learned through previous real estate experience, working as a fund development director and with entrepreneurial training, Amanda has skillfully created a successful way to support her clients in making their real estate dreams a reality.
Always learning and keeping up to date, her leadership and management talents have supported her professional growth. She was awarded Co-Valedictorian with Leadership Wood Buffalo for the 2021-2022 cohort.
Amanda has a biological daughter and 15 "pieces of her heart" she has loved and cared for in her home (at different times! Haha). In her spare time, you can find her kayaking the local rivers, camping, trying to get to the ocean or trying to get her teenager to come out of her room.
Amanda is looking forward to reconnecting with past clients and welcoming new clients.
